About Our Club

Southeastern men’s lacrosse is a club organization at Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, Louisiana. The Lions compete in the Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association Division 2 as a member of the Lone Star Alliance conference. As a student-run organization, our players are dedicated to the game and enjoy working together as a team.

Founded in 1925, Southeastern Louisiana University is the third largest university in the state. Located in Tangipahoa Parish, over 15,000 students call Southeastern home and proudly support the Lions in their green and gold. Hammond is a small town community approximately 60 miles north of New Orleans and 45 miles east of Baton Rouge. The university is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and consists of five colleges that offer over 60 degree programs.

Southeastern lacrosse started in the spring semester of 2016. In the MCLA LSA Division 2 East, the Lions compete against teams at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Rice University, LA Tech and Sam Houston State University, to name a few.
